Religious Studies
“Religious Studies is probably the one subject I’ve used most since leaving school. It’s not just about Christianity; It was learning about the way different people live. Going to India and Pakistan and having an understanding of that helped me no end”
Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff MBE, former international cricketer, and coach for the England cricket squad
What is Religious Education?
RE helps students gain an appreciation of how religion, philosophy and ethics form the basis of navigating life in multicultural Britain and a globalised world. Lessons provide students a safe space to reflect upon and explore different worldviews on wide ranging issues. This helps develop their analytical and critical thinking skills by grappling with abstract ideas and answering big questions about life and death.
Why do we teach Religious Studies at HAF?
